Quick tips: tight shoulders

Here's a super quick tip to loosen off tight and sore Shoulders

When you've been at work all day there's nothing like coming home to a nice massage from your partner. Unfortunately, they've had a manic day themselves and after getting home and sorting the kids out they've got dinner on and don't have the time energy or inclination to give your poor tight aching shoulders a rub.

 

It's a bit tough to do on your own and you never seem to be able to reach the right places with enough pressure to make a dent in the golf balls that seem to residing where your muscles should be.

 

I have a great tip for you that will relieve that tension, make your partner happy (they don't have to waste time rubbing your shoulders) and you can then get on with whatever else it is that busy parents do - mine is generally eat, sleep or get back on my laptop.

 

Here's what you're not getting

 

  • Foam rolling/Myofascial Release

  • Nagging

  • Pleading

  • Whinging

  • Half hearted attempts at a massage and give up because "my hands are tired"

  • Expensive treatments

  • Time Wasting

  • No getting yourself into awkward positions like a gymnast just so you can get a lacrosse ball in there.
