5 Monkey Experiment

The 5 monkeys “experiment”
Whether this story is true or not seems to be up for debate. The exact circumstances may be false but the message is true.
Scientists put 5 monkeys in a cage

at one end of the cage was a ladder
at the top of the ladder was some food. When one of the monkeys attempted to climb the ladder
and grab the food
they were sprayed with cold water.
In a very short period of time the monkeys learnt to NOT climb the ladder.
It’s dangerous!
Next, they removed a monkey and replaced it with an “untrained” monkey.
This new monkey had no idea that climbing the ladder meant punishment by cold water.
When the new monkey tried to climb the ladder the other monkeys stopped it - no more cold water was sprayed.
(some versions of the story say “violently stopped”)
Over time each of the original monkeys was replaced
and each time the new member tried to climb the ladder for the food
the other monkeys stopped them.
Take the Red Pill!
In psychological terms this is called a conditioned response.
We follow the crowd because of a perceived threat of NOT following the crowd.
I have NOT been following the crowd for a few years now.
I’ve also had plenty of cold showers - it’s good for the soul (and your

mitochondria)
We’ve been trained to think that when we’re sick a bacteria or virus is invading us and to solve that problem we take a pill
We’ve also been trained to think that when we have an injury it’s the soft tissue (muscle, tendon, ligament etc) is damaged -
sometimes it is but it’s not the cause!
so we take some painkillers, wait and do some rehab exercises (maybe)
But what really controls our body?

Our Brain and our nervous system is responsible
for everything going on in my body.
Including my immune system
But my Brain is controlled by my thoughts My thoughts are controlled by my conditioning (beliefs)
And that’s all influenced by our emotions and life experiences
And that again is influenced by our identity
WHO we believe we are
i.e. mum/dad, rich/poor, healthy/sick, working class/middle class/upper class, our work title or the company we work for, what car you drive, the clothes you wear
many might say we can’t effect those.
that it’s our genetics or luck

But I believe that conditioning can be changed
Especially when it comes to health
But the first step is getting on the ladder and trying again, ignore what the crowd is doing they’re only doing it because they’ve been conditioned to do it. Go try and reach those bananas!
What I’m doing is different, and psychologically speaking, different is risky. But here’s the ONLY risk you’ll have with treatment with me: You might have to put aside many things we've been taught about health, wellness, biology, physics and chemistry
With medicine there are often side effects - especially long term meds
With rehab exercises it still might not work, you’re often completely missing the causes and it takes months of yawn inducing exercises.
I help all people from tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, neck pains to more complex conditions including diverticulitis, IBS, smell loss, vision problems and much more. We can even have a free chat to discover more about you and your specific problems. BUT it does mean you’ll have to throw away some of your beliefs about health and how our bodies work. Sorry But wouldn’t it be better to know that you’re much more in control of your health than you think you are?? Pete “unconditioned” Houchin
